New Song Posted!!

Hey! Guess what? We posted a new song. How exciting is that? (probably not very except to us) regardless we hope you listen and enjoy it because we do. It is a very early version (we wrote the second half during recording) and was done all at once in garage band. Therefore its more a taste if you will of the future potential of this song. Its for our friend Greg Murphy of 28 Degrees Taurus.

Listen below or check out our page @ www.myspace.com/hotboxboston for the video too!

Note the ridiculous blonde wig that you will see more of if you come out this Friday to Jacques Underground! (The wig was courtesy of Karina DeCosta of 28DT what would we do without those guys?)

Science Jokes

Told to me yesterday by Andrew from Maine:

Two hydrogen atoms are hanging out and one says to the other, "I think I lost an electron."

The second asks, "Are you sure?"

The first responds, "I'm positive."

I would like more jokes. You can tell them to me here: O Ham and A Who
(I am seriously preferential to science jokes but math jokes work too.)

Also, Mittens last show was fantastic last night. If you didn't get a chance to see them, you severely missed out. I'll upload all of their tunes I have so you can bask in the legacy.

O'brien's Pub

"It was frock" (fucking rock) D

This was probably my favorite line up yet. Teletext, Famous Lovers, Gunfight!, and Bridget & the Squares, I mean come on! They stopped letting people in. For future reference O'brien's only holds 70 people at a time. We still couldn't be happier.

Yoyo is our new official sales person. If you were there, she is the tall asian female accosting you to purchase a hot box lip balm (you don't have ONE dollar?!). Danielle and I are not allowed to dance for other bands, at least not after so many drinks (injuries will undoubtably occur). But don't worry Eric will forever save us from driving home drunk. (How did we get home?)

The after party was at our place. Our apt smelled like beer for the first time ever and I forgot how uncomfortable waking up hungover and the unescapable smell of alcohol can be. Apparently I threw someone out of the party by force. I heard he fell down the stairs but that was no fault of my own. I was out of the loop and thought he was actually fighting D so of course I had to stop him. (It had nothing to do with all that whiskey). Making jinsen into a toilet paper mummy just made a mess.

I'd love to shower. I'll post pictures soon. Our next show is March 29th and we have costume ideas. How appropriate. Enjoy the flyer and if you aren't already aware:

enjoy! Oh, on a final note, if you have any pictures from the show/party/of us/ old/ new/ boring/ shitty angles/ blurry we don't care just send them :) thanks.
