Forty {44} Four Distribution

Now has a website: (albeit spelled incorrectly but still functional) www.fourtyfourdistro.com

I've been learning all the HTML / JAVASCRIPT I can manage and it should be going live sometime this weekend. How exciting?!

It also has a less exciting but still somehow functional myspace page (correctly spelled this time) www.myspace.com/fortyfourdistro

please give a look and listen to the bands if you haven't heard of them.

Milky Way Recap and Tour Preparations etc.

I called a friend last night to see if he was going to be coming down to the Milky Way for our show with AM Syndicate, to which he said, "yeah i saw you in the paper,"
puzzlement, confusion, "what?"
"there was  picture of you in the paper"
"a picture? of me?"
"yeah there was a picture of you, for the show tonight, i saw it in the Herald"
"what? what do you mean?"

I didn't get it. Its a good thing someone I know reads the Herald or I would have never known there was a cute little picture of us on the front page of the entertainment section of yesterdays Herald. We were in the top corner right above ( of all bands ) Pavement.

"Everyone loves free shows, especially ones with local indie trio Hot Box and Texas' AM Syndicate" Our 2 minutes in fame. But a great two minutes, its hard to feel like your efforts are worthless and no one is going to come to your show and you doubt yourself at every turn, but little reminders that there is a method to all of this madness bring you back to life. This weekend will be filled with mail-outs and song writing and t-shirt making and tour preparations. Can you feel it coming?
